Flush Mounted Microwave Occupancy detector


This is a miniature microwave occupancy detector provides automatic control of lighting loads. This detector is for switched and dimming loads, be they fluorescent or LED luminaires.

The unit detects movement using microwave technology and switches the load on. When an area is no longer occupied the load will switch off after an adjustable period of time. This unit also has the benefit of offering photocell hold off. When the luminaires are lit and the area is occupied, the lamps will fade to a set level. This detector can also be programmed for step back illumination to provide continuous low level illumination.

This product is designed to be mounted in the front face of a luminaire. The detector should be sited so that the detection pattern encompasses room occupants whilst mounted at a recommended height of 2.4m.

If using absence detection, only one luminaire may be connected to one switch to avoid synchronisation issues. Absence detection should only be used in areas where there is one luminaire.

This unit has an added function of a burn in period. By setting the burn in parameter with a remote control, a time period can be set for which the lamps will stay on maximum output. This ensures the lamps are conditioned according to the manufacturers' recommendations.

The functionality of the M008-CFMM-PRO is controlled by a number of parameters which can be accessed using the ASENS-CHS5 or the ASENS-CHSLCD.
